  • FYI - my last order never showed up. They have issued a refund, but nearly took a month due to the long shipping time.

    • That's wild, btw, I just ordered and the ETA is Monday

    • I am still waiting for mine. Ordered about 1 month ago.

    • Maybe wishful thinking. Hope arrives on Monday 24th. Kinda ran out for the week

    • I'm still waiting my A-Z guarantee refund before I order again.

  • Made in China, that's the bummer for me…

    • Just use one of your red balloons. Blow it up, put against your face, release the air slowly, should give you a air tight seal

      • You must be an angry & cynical person from various posts I’ve seen. Unless you thought you’re funny. It’s one thing to make constructive criticism but also okay just to shut up and move on. Try make some friends in real life.

It indeed is a bummer. Been more conscious when choosing products from PRC. Trying to avoid but it's everywhere in the supply chain.

Here are two different masks and different quality. Top one is Watson (made in Taiwan), another one is Longtu which I bought it two weeks ago from Amazon. I bought Tinawells, but received Longtu. I haven't contacted Amazon yet.

    • Where did you get the Watsons masks and also how much?
They look thicker and the folds look more solid vs the Longtu's.

      • A friend gave us a box, his family sent it from Taiwan.

These Tinawells isnt really what they are but branded Longtu from China.

    Bait and switch.

    • Oh dear… you might be right.

      Switch with William Klien ones

I got tinawells on the last order they had for 21$

      • +2

So did I. The people that got the longtu ones probably chose a different third party seller that was claiming to sell the tinawell ones. There were different sellers you can choose the last time I ordered for $21.

You had to choose Tinawells as the seller and thats what I got. After clicking the op's link I noticed that the seller is Tinawells only, so if you still get longtu ones just contact Amazon support about it and they will sort it out, as the customer service is fantastic and most likely will give you a refund if that happened.

See the review link below to see why some received longtu ones.

Oh! As for the quality of Tinawell ones. Its no worse (I would say slightly better) than the other chinese made ones that I wear provided for me at work.

  • Ordered starting to run low, have some reusable but disposable are handy for when you forget to wash them.

  • I bought some a while ago, and seem OK but it would be good to know if they do not use forced Uyghur labour. Until I can confirm that, I wouldn't buy them again….

Ordered a month ago and still waiting. NOT shipped from Australia. On tracking info it says Taiwan Post.

    • As someone who got stung with a similar issue - I think it depends on when you buy it. When I checked this deal earlier today it said fulfilled by Amazon. If however you bought it when it was out of stock and Amazon AU defaults to the next cheapest seller, sometimes it defaults to a seller who is shipping from overseas eg RJDJ. The issue is that the title of the item still says Shipped from Australia even though it's not.

I don't know who is at fault but either way as a consumer, the title was not just misleading, it was wrong.

My one was from Australia post. So its definitely from Australia. Another third party seller must of sent your one and hence the delay.

Contact amazon support for stress free resolution. No point in giving negative votes here especially when there are indeed people who received tinawells that was sent from auspost. I would negative this deal if it was the same for all but it isnt.

Replying to psyduckduck btw. I hit the wrong reply.

Ordered a month ago and it had the same title "shipped from Australia". Later when I realized that it was shipped via Taiwan post I've contacted the seller to cancel and refund who asked me to be patient. I've contacted Amazon as well and their initial response was that they couldn't do anything because at the time it was not fulfilled by Amazon Au. I have good reasons to negative vote on this deal. Also, if you read the 1 star rating on Amazon you'll find that there are circumstances where you receive incorrect brand, and people complaining of poor quality from those.

        • +2

But that's on you for not paying attention where it was shipped from. Once its no longer fulfilled by amazon or the manufacturer it goes to the next available automatically.

        • +6

I can understand why you would feel that way.

This is an issue from Amazon's end for putting up a product and allowing other sellers to sell something that does not match whats on the product description. Had I not been careful and not read reviews, I would have made the same mistake. But regardless, its wrong for Amazon to allow other sellers to use the Tinawells description to scam customers that may not be aware that they are not actually getting the item described on their product page.

I had instances of issues arising from items not fullfilled by Amazon but luckily for me the seller resolved the issue without amazon's intervention. Hope it works out for you too.

  • Ordered twice, both came with the box showing non medcal

    • It's because they are not sterile. Fine for use in public and non-medial situations

  • I've just noticed that the same Tinawells 50 mask is sold by another seller with 15% off which works out to be a little less than the deal here. Both fullfilled by amazon.

So which is the real deal? And why can the other seller sell the same Tinawells and why does Amazon still allow this(possibly fake) Mystery continues with these Tinawells masks. Lol.

Mods I believe the negative votes should be revoked as this deal is legitimate

  • Mine arrived yesterday (25/8) so it delivered as promised unlike the first batch.
