Hi everyone! We're clearing out our 2D home cinema projectors and this means some great discounts on popular models. The SANYO PLV-Z800 is a great 1080P 3LCD home cinema projector. Genuine Australian stock with a 3 year warranty (including the lamp) from Sanyo Australia. This model is selling for over $1550 on Shopbot, and we are selling it for a mere $1199 + delivery. We should easily have the cheapest price for genuine Australian stock with a Sanyo Australia 3 year warranty.

Delivery is via courier, and we normally dispatch within one business day of payment clearing - however, as it's Melbourne Cup day tomorrow and our head office will be closed, the earliest we will be processing orders is Wednesday. Credit cards and PayPal attract a 2% surcharge, BPay and Direct Deposit don't.

  • Looks like a sweet deal - kudos to the rep for doing a Shopbot search! :D Seems pretty well received: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/projectors/sanyo/plv-z8… , http://www.homecinemacentral.com.au/sanyo_Z800_review.htm

    I'd buy one if I wasn't bleeding money…

  • I owned the Z700 (last year's model of the same projector)
and it was BEAUTIFUL. So much lens shift you can place it almost anywhere in the room and still get great results.

    I had it on a 120-inch (300 mm) screen!

I was sad to sell it for $600 in america :(
If you can afford it, GET IT! You won't be disappointed

    • Needs a darkish room .. it's not very bright (perfect for a dedicated home theatre room though)
I've been looking around and the hot.com.au price was already the best I could find (from memory around $1299 a fortnight ago), but my room has a skylight and lots of windows and I'm just not confident I could blacken it enough to make the most of it.

The Epson 3200 would be great and this is an incredible price (but too much for me)! - the same as the refurb unit on the Epson Clearance site!

  • They are good prices… but i wouldn't say Bargain..

The TW3200 can be picked up any day of the week for $1550ish from anywhere..

  • How about a deal on the new Epson 5900 / 6000 series 3D projectors!
I'm keen as mustard to buy one ASAP!

  • Hey anyone know how this compares to an Epson TW4500, the best deal Harvey Norman will give me is $2399 including a mount… I'm inclined to take it.

I'm an absolute newbie, and I know nothing about projectors, just want a larger picture for watching movies occassionally, and I already had a HDMI cable pulled through the wall when the house was getting built - so i figure might as well use it… Any help appreciated.

    • I wouldn't buy it from Harvey Norman, however, I'd look at the new Epson TW5900.. The TW4500 is a very good projector but is now superceeded..

      http://www.hot.com.au/product/epson-eh-tw5900-fhd-3d-home-th…

    • That's an good price for that particular model.. The Tw4500 is better than both these models..
      in order of awesomeness

      Tw4500
      Tw3200
      z800

The Z800 comes last as it uses ORGANIC panels.. which will fade and discolour over time.

  • Just be aware that the new Epson 3D projectors don't have optical lens shift.. only keystone, which sucks!

I was about to buy a TW6000W but ill wait til the next genereation of 3D now..
