Philips OneBlade Pro QP6520/20 $99 Delivered @ Shaver Shop

190

Standard RRP for this model is $149 and is a shaver shop exclusive. It tends to go on sale at $99 a few times a year, been keen to get one for a while so decided to bite the bullet.

Specs say blades should last roughly 4 months (based on 2 shaves per week) and a two pack costs about $39 (current price at Amazon).

This model comes with a charging stand and it has the digital display.

Stack with nocure's post for the increased cashback with cashrewards and also TA's $2 bonus and the price is even better ($84.99 after both cashrewards are paid).

Bought about 10 mins ago and already received the cashback tracking email to get back $12.01.

Product description:

Have the basic model. I don't get the fuss. Used maybe 3 tines. That reminds me - I need to sell it.

Yeah good luck with the sale…

      • Edit: I'm NOT associated. Must've accidentally clicked something

Don't see the drama. Comes with 3 blades. Still has 2 new ones. It's sanitary.

The main benefit I get from it is the fact it almost never hurts the skin, EVERYWHERE on the body. Not the closest shave though, but good enough.

Personally don’t care for the adjustable comb mechanism.

    • It is a slightly different model, though I think the only differences are the charging stand and LCD display.

I have the one you linked on Amazon (bought for $47 in Dec 2018) and it seems to work pretty well under weekly use.

Similar but the one on Amazon is one model down, main differences:

      • No charging cradle
      • No digital display
      • 12 cutting lengths vs 14
  • I purchased something else and used the $10 welcome code and got a cashreward email saying tracked.

Maybe later down the track the cashreward will say void cos I used the welcome code.

  • I've got the basic model, and it's served me well. Not the closest shave, but great for the daily tidy up.

Anyone have a comparison/opinion on whether it's worth getting this one?

  • I've got the basic one, it keeps catching and cutting my skin in one particular spot under my chin, seems to be a dryness thing rather than fault of the shaver though.

Running it with the shortest comb attachment however makes it absolutely flawless.

    • Is that due to a dull blade?

  • If you cut the grass below the tree, it makes the tree look bigger ;)

  • It's a great shaver. The replacement blades are pricey: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B01FFOY006/
