  • I don't think they will let you purchase jigo points with jigo points, if that's what you're trying to do? (just going by the $2 offer they have on today with this guess) Any time I've used them to make a purchase, the box to redeem any points I have is just there in clear view.

    • no, that's not what I'm trying to do, what I means is how to you redeem jigopoint and use jigopoint to purchase their "deal"?

  • i was wondering this also as there doesnt seem to be an option to "pay" using jigopoints?

  • I don't happen to have purchased anything since they introduced points with every purchase, so it may have changed. Any time I've made a purchase though, the box has simply been there notifying of my points and asking if I want to use them for the particular purchase.

The simplest way of dealing with it might be to email them …. [email protected]

    • their customer service sucks, never reply my email

  • I just got an email recently saying my JigoPoints will expire soon. Problem is, I have never seen anywhere to "redeem" them when going to check out. I had no idea they would expire, or what they're even worth. AND there are no deals atm that I want! What a waste - I'd prefer no points system rather than one that is not explained and doesn't work!

  • I did make a couple of purchases over the weekend. One specified that points could not be used for that deal. With the other, there was a box stating 'apply jigopoints to this deal' and the ability to select the number of points you wanted to use. There's a limit of 10 that can be applied at one time though, so I certainly wouldn't be basing my spending habits around points that are due to expire.

  • There is a crystal pendant that they are offering at $17. All the other deal sites have it for $19. You can use $10 jigopoints, maling it $7. Could be a nice pressie for a young girl.

    • Yep - my one-year old grandson did just that and got it for his Mum for Christmas. :)

  • +1

I just noticed that for Melbourne buyers, you can buy $22 buffet meal for $22. $12 after jigopoints. It is a place called Alfred's homestead way out of melb. They used to sell their meals on ebay and I think they had a near perfect feedback rate. If you like eating at buffets and are in melbourne, then that could be a deal for you.

    • see these guys are always on, good to see no expiry.
they are a little far, otherwise i'd jump on it.

  • Sorry, that was a $40 buffet meal for $22. $12 after jigopoints.

  • Or if you're in Sydney, they're currently offering 2 games of bowling for 2 people at Wetherill Park for $9, which can be brought down to $6 using points. With school holidays fast approaching this seems like a dirt cheap way to fill in an afternoon.

They actually have a very generous referral program - pays $10 for any (first) purchase made by the referee, doesn't have to be over $10. I doubt this would include their current free holiday competition entry though: if the person you referred 'bought' this first though, they'd straight away have 5 points to apply to their first real purchase. ;)

  • The points tend to expire pretty quick, but they seem to be very generous with them.
