560

This is the Thera Gun Pro, usually sold ~$850. Sold and delivered by Bing Lee via Catch. Possibly a price error since even on the Bing Lee website this is $899.

I hate to say it, but I reckon its more likely they wont honor the deal as normally they will deduct your money from your bank account straightway, but not this time.

    • Payment came out of my paypal account

      • same, but mine eventually will be deducted from my bank account
so far I paid by paypal, but they did not took the money from me yet :(

  • How did i miss this?! I've been waiting to get this…

I am more incline to believe that Bing Lee might have mistaken the Theragun Pro with the Theragun Mini. The Mini is currently priced at $349 on Bing Lee’s website. I hope even if they honour the deal, the people who successfully purchased would not be sent the Mini.

  • Read an article once that compared the effectiveness of a gun like this Vs a cheap orbital car polisher. The gus was apparently only a bit better.

    • Was it a peer reviewed journal article? I'd be interested to hear more on its efficacy

      • +1
        • Yeah that's the one!

The main negative stated there was the need to have the polisher connected to a power outlet. That could be easily fixed by buying a battery operated one like the Toolpro one that was selling for less than $50 recently. I got one of those, might try and see how it fares this weekend :D

  • Looks like its sold out, I've been mashing refresh for a while now.

  • Whats the comparison between the $100 china ones?

    • I bought several hundred dollar china ones, and it only lasted 2 month…
As the torch of the motor is not strong enough, anyway i got replacement, so far that one is ok, but may be for girls, not for major muscle and deep penetrating
Hypervolt plus have 90watts motor while I was looking into specs of thera gun pro, but I cant find one, but by 27kg of punching force I reckon this one is stronger.

Lol. Wonder why you got negged? Triggered a feminist, perhaps?

  • The pictures look like the G4, 2020 model too, man, I'm so bummed I missed out! Good luck to those who got their orders, hopefully they honour it!

    • Yeah they make mention of the blue tooth element in the description which isn't in my G3Pro

  • If anyone got one they don't actually want, I'd be interested.

  • its back on sale.

    • Got it! Perks of waking up early!

  • Got one this AM

  • Managed to get one this morning as well. Happy days, Now lets see if it gets sent!

  • How the heck do you change the seller?

  • I only came across these devices a week ago are they any good? Saw someone using 1 after BJJ who reckoned it was great

    • +3

I have the hypervolt and works a treat, I was getting massages every few weeks from migraines, tight hips neck, shoulders and lower back. Combination of Desk job and BJJ 5 times a week but found Yoga, stretching and this on top alleviated a lot of it, was worth the investment for me gave up the massage sessions so has paid for itself and more.

Haven't quite figured out how to relieve and stretch neck and shoulders without giving myself a migraine though. It feels great the next day but that initial night I have to suffer.

Had it about 18 months and noticed the battery is not lasting as long as it used to… might be an expensive part to replace when it goes.

      • Awesome thanks mate

      • You can buy replacement one from the website itself

        • +1

Thanks man, Its expensive but not as much as I thought $99 ain't too shabby good to know when it becomes an issue.

  • I haven't once seen the lower price.

Catch normally refund all price errors too.

Maybe someone can screenshot and customer service will honour? I also cant find Bing Lee as a seller.

    • Can't find because Bing Lee is out of stock at this time on Catch. Automatically shows the cheapest available seller, like Amazon I think. Agree the price is insanely good for this.

  • Contacted Bing Lee to see if they had anymore for $349. No deal.

    • So it wasn't a price error?

    • Did they say they really had the TheraGun Pro on special for $349?

      • They just said they will look into it and then came back to me and said they don't have anymore for $349. Then they just offered the prime model which is $499 and left the chat.

You might have just ruined it for everyone who managed to get one.

      • Well that'll be awkward…

      • I’d rather they make a refund than send us the Mini if that’s the case.

    • I hope you haven't now alerted them to the price error :( :(

      • my order was just cancelled

        • Damn! Now I will wait for the cancellation other than the shipping email. :(

        • yeah same here

      • They’ll be alerted anyway when processing the orders for dispatch if it is really a pricing error. They will notice the sudden influx of orders for the Pro.

  • Refunds on the way 'incorrect item' … Was worth a shot

  • Yup. My order has been cancelled too but no ‘compensation’ coupon given.

    Not even a voucher. Bastards….

What a shame, I really wanted to try out this thing. Might pony up and get one in the near future.

I bought one last month at $899 which is why I was skeptical when I saw the price at $349 when it only just got released. In my opinion, this is far better than the $100~ ones you get at amazon/eBay/ali express. For me personally, I like the hard massages that digs into the muscle which this provides. It is also far less quieter than their previous model which is why I went for this model over the Hypervolt Plus. If you don't need the rotating arm, I suggest the Theragun Elite to save money and is even quieter than the Pro.

      • far less quieter than their previous model

You prefer a noisier massager? o_O

What does the rotating arm do by the way?

        • +2

Their current version (v2) is quieter than their previous one, by a lot. But their Pro model is louder than their Elite model. The Pro model is the only one that allows you to rotate the arm so it can be easily used on your own to reach different angles. But if you don't need the arm, or if someone else can do it for you, then then elite is cheaper and quieter for you. But the stall force on the Pro is higher at 60lbs vs 40lbs for the Elite. That is the main difference of the two models. Both models have the same RPM

          • @dblade123: Ta! I’ll take those factors into consideration to choose between the Elite and the Pro when it comes to buying time.

      • Do you also own Hypervolt Plus?
Do they have similar force of percussion?

        • No I don't have the Hypervolt Plus. However, I was leaning towards that before Theragun released their version 2. Although Hypervolt Plus is still quieter, Theragun provides more features, at the cost of a higher price tag. Hypervolt has a 10mm amplitude vs Theragun with a 16mm amplitude. That would mean Theragun provides a better punch and percussive massage where Hypervolt would feel more like a vibration massage. Hypervolt has a 40lb stall force, and Theragun Pro has a 60lb stall force. If money is not an issue, go for the Theragun Pro.

  • On this note, can anyone recommend a unit from Amazon or Ebay for $80-120? I wanna buy one as a gift for a mate.

  • +1

Anyone here has Xiaomi Meavon massage gun? They good?

  • -1

Order cancelled & no voucher. >:-[

This is the difference between Amazon & s***ty local retailers like Catch & Bing Lee.

Amazon don't make these stupid mistakes in the first place, and if they do make a mistake, then they'll honour the deal.
