I got this for $16 a few days ago when there was 20% off Sabco products. Still a good deal at $20.

I was looking for a long-handled water brush to wash my van and was interested in the Turtle Wax car wash mop at Supercheap Auto for $39.99.

Turns out these are identical products. Sabco owns the Turtle Wax brand and sells this item at a higher price point with the Turtle Wax branding at auto stores and with the Sabco brand elsewhere at a lower price. You can't fool an OzBargainer!

Features:
Dual weave microfiber micro-noodles capture dirt for extra cleaning power
Padded microfiber head for effective cleaning efficiency that won't damage the car exterior
Dual Use - Can be used hand held or with extension handle for easier reach
Extends to 1.46m enabling you to clean hard to reach areas of vehicles

  • Does this have a hose attachment?

    • No.

  • This, or a 50c sponge?

I wanted a sponge on a stick. This was the best I could do.

      • Handy for big cars / caravans / boats?

Handle extends to 1.5m. I can do the roof of my work van no problem.

        • For big decks too.

    • Depends how badly you want to scratch the paint with a sponge…

      • I don't see why. If you use a 2 bucket system and rinse it with the same frequency as you would a microfibre wash mitt it should be no worse.

What the heck is a Noodle Car ?

    • I was sold on it being 'High Power'… :P

(after following link to big W)

      • Yeah, I didn't include that bs in the title.

  • I think this will makes lots of micro scratches
