Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Prices

Hey Everyone,

Im currently looking at upgrading my watch and looking at the Garmin 6X Pro. Currently looks like they have a promotion on at the moment where you save $250.

I have been keeping an eye on them for the very recent time and it looks like its a not too bad deal, but honestly havent been looking for long enough to really know.

was $1249 now $999

Is this a good / decent price for a Fenix 6X Pro or should I be keeping an eye out for a bit longer? Ideally id like to be able to upgrade within the next 6 or so weeks as i'm due to change jobs and would like it for work

Thank in advanced everyone!! :D

    I would hold on.

They should be announcing the Fenix 7 soon so prices may drop then.

    • Felix 7? Where did you hear this? I thought the models Are released every 2 years?

      • It will either be the 6 plus or the 7 later this year.

        • I'm sorta hanging out. Rumers the 955 with potential LTE will be released September 9?

This would make sense to use the 955 as a Guinea Pig for a Fenix 7 LTE?

          • @Robbo14: Yeah traditionally the 9xx is used to trial new features.

    $1 cheaper at Hardly Normal.

Looks like Garmin is managing the price across all resellers.

  • I signed up for kogan and put the fenix 6 pro on my wish list next day got an email with code for extra 20% off select garmin products on top of the sale price.

  • I recently bought the Fenix 6 Pro, didn't need the extra screen size. I went to Rebel and they pricematched Amazon, which was $50 cheaper and then used a discounted (10%) voucher so ended up getting it for $760

As a watch, its got everything you need, even an updated version wouldn't really give you that much more than you can get on the 6/X Pro

  • I got mine early this year using the jbhifi $400 giftcard when signing up to a mobile plan and buying a mobile at the same time. Price ending up at $800 using GC and discount. Its a great watch when used for the purpose. There are some downsides
    - size/weight on wrist if you aren't used to it like gshock
    - proprietary USB charger cable
    - some functions drain battery faster like using GPS tracker and heart monitor.
    - bugs, various problems people have with software. Check out the forums.
    - the gorilla glass can still be scratched. You end up knocking it around due to size wearing it 24/7
