  I get the colgate charcoal toothpaste. I love the idea of scrubbing my teeth with charcoal, it's like the opposite of sensodyne.

    Isn't sensitive teeth a sign something is wrong?

    Generally this is good advice- if it hurts, go to the damn dentist.
    But this is actually appropriate treatment for general hot / cold sensitivity if you have weakened enamel etc

    I have very sensitive teeth and I went to the dentist and this is what they recommended, they said they can't do anything about it
