For Downton Abbey fans who can't wait for Channel 7 to show Series 2 at some undefined time in 2012, Amazon UK has just dropped their price for this DVD from a listing price of £17.xx (can't remember what it was exactly except for the dollars) to £14.97. After VAT is taken off, the price comes to £12.48, which is roughly AUD 20.

Postage is around AUD 6 but if your order is more than £25, you may still get free shipping (this works in my basket, even though the site is still saying that the free shipping offer expires on 31st October.)

Please note that this is a pre-order, as the DVDs/blu-ray for season 2 is due for release in the UK on November 7.

[EDIT] This DVD is coded for regions 2,4,5, which includes Australia.

    This Sunday is the last episode for season 2 according to wiki. I think it's 8 episodes for the current season. I find it annoying that the timeline jumps so much between 2 episodes in season 2

    Just noticed that this DVD is actually coded for regions 2,4,5 (Australia belongs to region 4), so I've changed the description where I originally said a multi-region DVD player was required.
