Every Data of You Is Sold and Every Activity You Do on Internet Is Tracked

People can call me out and try to prove me wrong but it does not matter

  1. With no devices being actively used, was discussing about a product with my family and 10 min later an ad runs in tv that advertises the exact product. With so many days of watching tv , have never seen that ad till now

  2. Signed up to prepaid sim just yesterday and except me no one knows the number .today I get a call on that number identifying me with first name and last name and address trying to sell me electricity offers and another call to review my super. There is no way they could get these details as I just activated and never made a single call

  3. you search for a product in amazon, look around and leave. Next day someone post deal on the exact product and not a single related deal been posted at least for a month

  4. got a scam caller who was able to access my details my sending otp from a telco ( supposed to make us more secure). Telco does not want to accept that someone has a replica of their OTP system that lets scammers access the customer database and accounts.

While we consent to cookie usage, I don’t think everything is related to it

Just get careful of what you use and what you share in this DIGITAL world

I'm watching you right now. popcorn

  • There is server where they collect all data when you browse particular product, and Those company pay for that data so they advertise it when you visit any website. I believe those website is like ozbargain or other similar where this is source of their income.
If you will visit any private website you will not have those problem.

Wait, this just in everyone… President Kennedy has been shot while travelling in his presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas. It's unknown if the president has survived at this point.

On a more relevant note, are you familiar with a television program called the news or does your rock not receive UHF/VHF signals?

Because you're about 7 years too late to the whole "Eric Snowden Global Warrantless Surveillance Dragnet" party.

But thank you for alerting us to this breaking development; allow me to return the favour with a brief summary of everything pertinent since 2013 (the year you seem to be stuck in): we're all going to die and there's no sequel. You're welcome.

You mean Edward? Or is his brother in trouble now too? :)

      • +1

Yeah man, his brother was the real mastermind of the operation; Edward was just the fall guy. The truth is out there. Infowars.com.

(It was late when I typed that original post.)

    1. and 3. are Baader-Meinhof phenomenon
    • +9

I refuse to accept this. OP is an extremely important person and everyone is scrambling to make new TV ads and OzB deals to target them as soon as the surveillance data comes in.

      • Shit sorry, I didn't realise OP was a protagonist.

  • You make some of them sound like conspiracies. It's been happening for a long time.

I'll scare you abit more. If you are using Android. Open googly maps and select 'your timeline'. It shows everywhere you've gone. Even the time your driving in your car.

    • +4

Time spent driving in past month: 20 minutes.
      :(
(My "highlights" are visits to Coles and IGA. F you Google.)

    • +2

Google maps can even tell me when I was driving my car or riding my motorbike on a particular trip.

    • +2

Mine is turned off. Not saying they still aren't tracking me but at least my timeline is empty. :)

    • +1

I actually find this very useful. When I am looking at my credit card statement and have a card charge I am unsure of, or the business name is different to their store name. I'd check my timeline and then it would click what it was for. Obvious downside is I am being tracked 24/7.

Also pretty useful if you forgot where you went previously, and want to check what restaurant/place you visited. E.g. What was that mtn I visited in Germany called again?

      • Also very useful if you were ever accused of something you didn't do and can't remember where you were at that particular time (might even be used as evidence, albeit <100% solid, that you weren't where you allegedly were).

    • I'll scare you abit more. If you are using Android. Open googly maps and select 'your timeline'. It shows everywhere you've gone.

It only does that if you enabled it in the past. Yes you did.

You think a TV station aired an ad to thousands of people, but it was specifically targetted at you?

  • Ok, we'll be careful…Promise…..

  • +1

Yeah pointing out 1 & 3…please tell me you don't have kids

    1. True but you may have got it incorrect in that they predicted you wanted to buy the product without listening to you. If you use any device with voice control such as TV it is eavesdropping while fools comfort themselves with weasel words like deanonymised.

    2. Telcos sell data.

    3. Coincidence?

    4. The GSM network has been compromised for many years and criminals are increasingly using it to bypass SMS OTP.

  • Use Brave Browser. Problem Solved.

    • +1

Brave Browser will prevent TV networks from airing ads over free to air TV based on what you spoke about? :)

      • Throw away the Amazon Echo/Google Dot etc.Or turn off the internet.

    Hello Truman

  • Snowden is that you?

    Who's watching
    Tell me who's watching
    Who's watching me
I'm just an average man with an average life
I work from 9 to 5, hey hell, I pay the price
All I want is to be left alone, in my average home
But why do I always feel
Like I'm in the Twilight Zone?
I always feel like somebody's watchin' me
    And I have no privacy
I always feel like somebody's watchin' me
    Is it just a dream?

  • Dude, where's my Delorean??

You lost it didn't you and now you stuck here with us in Digital age, sad that you picked 2020 as your landing year tho..not a good year tbh.

    • +1

OP's onto something, you mentioned BTTF and now BTTF2 is airing on GO on Sunday night.

  • feels the waves of contempt wash over him

    Ahh. :/

  • We live in a post-privacy world. Part of your data production must involve a degree of acceptance of reality, otherwise you'll lose sleep over something you can't control. People have been scamming other people since time immemorial. In fact I'm secretly trying to work out a way to scam you with this very post.

  • its pretty easy really just throw your tv away and use adblock, how they gonna sell you stuff now?

    • or maybe just stop using any electronic devices

      • i'm pretty much on my computer all day, if i do see an ad i start feeling nauseous tho

  • You have angered my boss when you posted this.

    There shall be consequences.
