New bottle shop just opened up around my neighbourhood, Sydney Road Cellars. $16 for a 6 pack of VB AND Carlton Draught seemed like a bargain compared to the big boys eg. woolies and dan. Not sure if normal price or a special but hoping it stays that way. Only good if you’re a local.

Surprised VB is cheaper over here in New Zealand. x6 pack VB 375ml cans NZD $11.99 (AUD $11.06). Though it's probably the 6th or so preferred choice over here.

NZ Wine is priced lower in Aust than the supermarkets in NZ. And Aust wine cheaper in NZ, go figure.
But at least you can buy a bottle (or 2) until 11.00 pm at night in NZ from the supermarket, without having to swing by a stinking pub.
