Are there any good alternatives to the MS Surface Pro 7 ?
The key features I'm looking for are
For that price I got the surface pro 7, i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and even the keyboard (horribly overpriced, but integrates well) and pen. Just need to wait for a 20% off deal.
Depending on what you actually need windows for, you could get an iPad and remote desktop into a windows computer running at home. If you have fiber NBN at home then this could actually be good option.
Nothing really comes close to the Surface Pro but you could take a look at the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1
I love my Surface Pro. I don't think anything else really comes close. But I've never been so accident prone with any other possession - on my 5th one in 5 years and have had my current one for 18 months (it's hanging in there with some damage to the stand). Brilliant device for a maths teacher (me).

Larger HDD but screen resolution is poorer
There are some Asus machines with detachable keyboards but the surface is really the best in that style. I'd just stick with the best if that's what you're after.
