168-Piece Professional Colour Marker Set $79.99 + Delivery (Free with Kogan First) @ Kogan

100

These look to be a knock-off of the COPIC markers that professional designers, architects, and artists are fond of using, but at a fraction of the cost. Ideal for students. No idea what purpose the 'drawing glove' is for, but you get one of those, too.

Original price is $129.99 which is still heaps cheaper than a set of COPICs, and is the same cost as the 80-marker set by Kogan so you get twice as many for the same price. Delivery to Launceston, Tas, is $11.99

  • Price in description?

    • D'oh! I just realised that. Fixed now.

Have you been drawing without a glove? Rookie.

  • And you get a carry case! That's cool. A good way to keep them all together.

The glove is to pad base of your palm so you don't smudge the ink on paper/your sleeve/your palm.

    I remember paying $5 for 1!

Quality in comparison? I have only tried COPIC which are obviously high level quality.

    • Not sure. I wish these had been available when one of my kids needed COPICs for uni, I’d have bought them just on spec to see what they’re like.

    • Also interested. Anyone?

  • Has anyone got these, any reviews?

    • There are 14 reviews on the product page that are generally complimentary. The only negatives I saw are they bleed on some papers and have a strong smell.

      • They are probably like the kmart markers, colour through most papers / card and on to any surface.

I haven't tried these ones before but if anyone else is looking for a good copic knock-off, Ohuhu is affordable and does the job. Been using them for awhile now.

If you are going to buy knock offs might be better to buy them in eBay, I got 80 for 20 bucks. They were pretty decent for the price, not sure how they compare.

  • I don't mind buying things from Kogan, and I was strongly considering this st OP posted to get for my wife. But I read some comments and I'm not keen on some people saying that it bleeds through paper a LOT.
