        just because you have no feelings to vegetables it doesn't make it ok to consume them… some religions believe in reincarnation… what makes you think they a wrong and its not someones grandpa you are eating as a raw carrot…. not cooked! just raw… biting what might be a leg for him! and just chewing while he is trapped in that carrot sensing every bite! unable to scream or interact!
        basically its all matter of perspective on the topic… deep down everything is made out of the same particles and just because you choose to draw a line on something that makes you comfortable doesnt make it OK on a grand scale of things… carrots might have rights too in some multiverse

      Doesn't quite work that way. The value of sheep as a commodity is increased if there is demand for products like sheep skin. Farmers run more sheep when they get more money per unit.

        Indeed. For cattle a good 10% of carcass value is in the skin. For merino sheep the wool is the main profit driver.
