I have used these exact glasses for a good 6 years without any problems. They are washed in a dishwasher and given no special treatment.

    Could anyone confirm/deny that the clear rubber on the bottom of the mug moves when placed in the dishwasher? I know they say they are dishwasher safe though.

      Its a one way valve, it's a permanent fixture and doesn't get removed. Does that answer your question?

        Mine are at least 6 years old. Maybe 7.
        I haven’t had an issue with the seals on the bottom.

        They have only ever been washed in a dishwasher.

    i bought them few weeks back during bodum sale, use everyday for my daily coffee, and unfortunately, they are brittle, and easy to crack .. bought 8pcs set, now only 3 left :(

      Same experience. They have a tendency to crack after a couple of months.
