  • I'm very tempted by this offer - looks like a lovely drop.
That said, a similar product such as the Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Cask lists at $150.00 bottle on this site, which can be ordered for A$105.32 elsewhere - so just not sure about their RRPs.

    • Curious where you are finding arbelour 16 for 105

  • +2

They always have Glenfarclas deals as they parallel import direct from the distillery

This is also a fairly compelling deal @ 1L

    • I've always got a bottle of this in the cupboard and nothing beats this price from Nicks. I've bought this from them the last 3 times at least. Great drop and great price! Used to be $105 but still a great price for 1L

    • 105 is not a great drop IMHO, and I'm a massive fan of most of the Glenfarclus. 17 looks great at this price, 15 is usually the best bang for buck.

      • It's not as good as it used to be, it has become younger over the years. Literally just about to finish a bottle (1 dram left in it).

The 12 is decent as an every day, standard whisky. The 15 is very good, 25 if you want to splash out. The 17 (or 19 when available, both are travel bottlings IIRC) are usually right in the middle.

    • I reckon the 105 is the sweet spot of the Glenfarclas range. It's $140 at Dan's.

      • The one from Dan's is 700ml though

  • Didn't the increased Amazon cashback from Cashrewards expire last night?

  • Glenfarclas is a great drop, esp the 15 for the price. If you're looking at supporting independent distillers, this is up there.

    • Glenfarclas for sherry, Springbank for peat. Love the fact they are both independent and keep a number of traditions alive.

  • Delivery is $22 to WA

  • I bought it because it has a swear word in the title

  • these are not sherry cask, aren't they?

    • AFAIK all Glenfarclas have sherry cask in them

      • Thanks, great to know.
