Beem It Glitch - Unable to Receive Payments

I've been a Beem It user since late 2019, and have made multiple transactions (sending and receiving payments) on the app. However, since 2 days ago, my contacts have not been able to pay me. They get the error message that says "@***** hasn't set up their account to receive instant payments yet. The payment will automatically be processed once they do this."

I've contacted the support team but have yet to hear from them nor has my issue been resolved.

Has anyone else encountered this glitch?

  • What card do you have registered to beem it? Did you change bank? Close account? Expired card? I haven't had any issues

  • Ive had this glitch twice before, both times I had my card replaced and forgot to update the new card in beemit.
    Double check the card number and expiry date.
    Try putting another debit card in, if you have one and make the new one the default then remove the original card and re enter it.

    • I have 5 cards, and I made transfers and payments on all 5 of them just a few days ago, but now, it seems like my account is not active.

      • I've also removed and re-added my cards to no avail.

        • I'm currently experiencing the same problem :(

          • @egglings: The glitch resolved soon after in spite of their IT support not being able to identify the source of the problem.

        • How do you remove a card? If there is a remove card option I can't find it and I'm still waiting for Beem It to get back to me with a working solution as opposed to an imaginary solution.

          • @peter: Go to the app on the right hand side you should see your picture click that and go to payment cards each payment card listed in there should have an ability to remove it.

            • @Kyle-K: It turns out there are three dots in the top right hand corner that I think used to only appear when you hovered over them. I notice that they are now visible at all times and you click on the three dots to access the remove card option.

  • Using HSBC by any chance?
