Will it work with a 2WD?
Yes but only one half will inflate.
Had a single. After a few months mat wouldn't inflate fully. Did some research. Turns out you have to store them flat and unrolled. Wouldn't recommend
Thanks for reminding me to un-roll mine.
I normally don't bother because they're used fairly often with visitors at home or camping, but there's been none of that for 6+ months.
What's a 4WD mat is it like a normal matress or something special
I believe it just means it can be rolled up and taken on trips… I could be mistaken
It's a self inflating mattress so big/heavy you need a car to carry it. As opposed to the small/light self inflating mattresses intended for hiking.
I have one of these mats. Reasonably comfortable, but takes up a fair bit of space in the car. The tightest I can get it rolled is a cylinder about 1270 mm long x 350 mm diameter. And $89 is about the most it's worth. $259.99 is crazy.
