And… someone told you they have a Cat Wheel…
But, when you Price-Checked such wheels online,
you were put off by their Multi-Hundred-$ price-tags
Here as some ideas on how you can DIY 1 for Cheap:
- Remind yourself & the rest of the Family: WHY
you want to see your cat run for fun in a big wheel
Search TIK TOK for "Cat wheel" for lot of examples
show'g how cats can be persuaded to use a wheel, &
how much fun & exercise they can get from doing so
- Find a YouTube Wheel DIY instructor, eg "Cat Toy Lady"
on YouTube (Shop around for some1 whose wheel(s)
you like, & whose parts-lists' Co$t you can live with
(She brings the Co$t of a DIY Cat Wheel down to Earth < $40)
Get the parts + Assemble + Test (per instructor's advice)
Train your Cat(s), eg, in front of TIK TOK on a large screen
If your cat doesn't get the idea & start running, get out:
5a. a "bird on a stick" cat toy OR
5b. a laser torch (if you cat still follows its dots)
Try each stimulus, per TIK TOK example, in turn,
until your cat's running in its new wheelCheck-for & Fix any Safety issue(s) that you find
Find someplace at home to "roll-out" your Cat Wheel to
Let your cat to use its 'wheel daily (or whenever s/he likes)
Optional:
Maybe build & $ell kits of parts (w/ link to Instructor's YT video)
