Cheap Photo Frame for an A0 Print

Hi peeps!

I got some awesome A0 size prints coming but when it comes to getting them framed, it's no so awesome…

I can't seem to find any cheap pre-made frames for A0 anywhere. Kmart has $20-A1 frames that looks great, but unfortunately they do not have them in A0.

Custom framing is ranging from $200-$600 from local stores which is understandable but I can't justify that price for my $32 prints.

Anyone know where I can get some el cheapo A0 frames similar to Kmart style ones? Or have I just bamboozled myself with the A0 sizes?

    A0 isn't really common for posters compared to 50x70mm standard. Try IKEA maybe, they have some cheap frames but not sure if they go up to that size.

      I got quite a nice one at Spotlight
      Edit to clarify - A1, not A0 from Spotlight.

      A0 with glass would be very heavy (A1 is heavy enough), so do consider your mounting.

    Go even bigger than A0 and mat it down. You'll pay for quality mat board too though.

      You can also mat it, then hang it as is without a frame.

        Or glue it to some backing board.

    Poster hangers?

      Just googled the poster hangers and they actually look pretty good.

      Might stick to frames though to match the rest of the other frames.
