Anyone Else Notice Issue with Their giftcards.woolworths.com.au Account?

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've been encountering a couple of problems this week and have not been able to get in contact with Woolworths Gift Card customer service.

(1) Cashrewards or shopback 5% link is sending me to a generic login Giftcard woolies account. When I log out generic account to log into my account, I lose the 5% discount. The 5% link always send me to generic logged in account.

Usually, if I am logged in, I can check out with the 5% and all my details already completed. The purchase is then saved as a record in "My Orders".

(2) When I log into my Giftcard woolies account, my history of orders is no longer there.

(3) I tried calling customer service yesterday and was hung up on every single time!

    Sounds like user error.

    • Would you mind elaborating? I've tried logging in via different browsers, computers, on my mobile… private browser. Clearing all the cache. I still have the same issue.

    Hi aprilzephyr and others. A security upgrade was implemented between Cashrewards and the Woolworths Gift Cards portal last week to utilise a far more sophisticated encryption method for member IDs. All users had to be logged out of accounts at the WGCs end in order for the implementation to take place and unfortunately the format of this upgrade means you are unable to be linked to historical data on the WGCs site. We understand it was convenient to see your historical transactions when logging into WGCs however you can still access prior (and future) savings in your Cashrewards account. All new transaction details going forward will be saved and viewable on the WGCs site as they were previously. Hope this helps.

    • Now the Cashrewards link has switched back to the old account? Because now all my old order history is visible, except the most recent order placed on 20 Sep (which was when none of my old order history was available and it appeared to be a new account).

    Looks like they did a reset of the database of some sort, but after the first order after the reset (of sorts), my details are saved for the next order
