    Yes mostly for cameras, or certain mesh Wifi systems that use PoE instead of AC power.

  I got my NBN cabinet with Cat6a cable which I will be running next week. This will compliment the setup rather nicely without having to pay the "ubiquiti dream machine" price.

  Not that this one only does POE (802.3af) where as the other one quoted in the OP does POE+ (802.3at). I've got two GS110TPs and have had to use a POE+ injector (https://www.tendacn.com/au/product/poe30g-at.html) when needing POE+ (802.3at).
