      • currently have LG 4K 28" IPS, would this be an upgrade, but more space would be nice at 4K ?

        • It's all up to personal preference. I did have a 28" 4K Samsung, and now working with 32" 4K. It's very comfortable to use. So yeah, it is nice.

You're not getting more space really, you're getting larger pixels. Same resolution across a larger surface area.

If you're interested in going dual screen and want something that's more focused on media consumption, this is decent.

      • I'm pretty sure it is IPS

If only it was a curved 34 non gaming!

If only it was a 100" OLED

  • So hard trying to find any 16:10 monitors these days.

Nice! Thanks for that, but looking for 24" or preferably 27" which is incredibly hard to find. Still using my Dell U2415 from a few years back!

How about this Philips 252B9, this is a 25" one.

        • Still using my Dell U2415 from a few years back!

Got one too. Paid $1650 (yes!) for it in 2004. Great monitor but heavy AF.

  • $524.98 from Harris and AZ not listed in the supplier list for me… presume its either over or I need to visit Specsavers.

    • was 450 for a short while and then they bumped the price up. I should have checked out when I had it in cart…

For those interested, 27" 4K IPS currently starts at an equivalent $310 on sale in the USA, which is where AU prices were at pre-covid.

We're seeing evidence of monitor prices coming down, save for select tech blog/enthusiast recommendations (i.e. gaming), so sit tight and watch the deals start roll in. In normal terms, this is probably a deal at $350.

  • Got a LG 4K 27incher (not curved) and its big at my face umm is 32incher too much, my most love of a 4K screen is the realestate you get out of them over 1080p/1440p screens, nice fitting alot more icons on the desktop, though 60mhz might be an issue for some 🤑🤪👍
