This might be a repeat because I think I've seen it in places, but it was all over the place on other deals and forums.
I wanted to ask for advice pertaining acceptable prices for GPUs on like FB marketplace and Gumtree for like 2070S and higher.
I'm looking forward to the 3070, but if I'm able to find a cheaper bargain second hand then I'd be all for it.
So for 2070S and above, I guess even including the 5700XT given Big Navi coming out, what would some good prices be?
That’s fair, just want to keep an eye out so I don’t miss anything.
Currently borrowing a GPU and I’ll need one near start of October, but I don’t want to get too desperate.

If supply of the new series can't match demand then price of second hand GPUs could go up. If GPU prices drop in anticipation of the new series, but the new series stays out of stock most of the time, then the price of second hand GPUs will go back up again. We saw it with bitcoin mining and it'll be the same thing no matter what the cause of increased demand or limited supply is. There's two next gen consoles launching in a few months, that could put a lot of would-be PC gamers off buying a GPU, and PC gamers who would have bought a new GPU around now might instead just buy a PS5 or series X. Or there could be monster demand for the new GPUs like we all expect and maybe they have enough supply for everyone.
It's a state of flux right now, you'll need to wait a month or two for the new RTX 30 series cards to be released, become in plentiful stock and for prices of older ones to stabilise. Right now everyone's trying to get the maximum out of their old cards to upgrade so doesn't give you a good view.
