  • Get something better than the Crucial P1. It doesn't have much bang and I kinda regret buying it. I've had no problems at all with the Sabrent Rocket. I wish I just brought to Sabrent Rockets now, but everyone was commenting as if the Crucial P1 was a great deal and I guess I just got caught up in the hysteria.

    Get this for sure https://www.centrecom.com.au/kingstons-a2000-500gb-nvme-pcie…

I'd personally spend the extra $61 and get the 1tb version though; AAA games are becoming massive. The a2000 is an OzB favourite.

    • Yeah probably going to go with this, looks good. What do you think about the 500gb samsung 970 evo atm with the current CB samsung is offering? I feel like its tempting but just looking for the cheapest decent option since its for my gf and she won't notice any difference

Well it would still be an extra $30+ for the Samsung even with the CB. The Kingston seems like the best option for what you're after.

You won't notice much difference in games with the speed, just load up times between levels
I dual boot in my PC, I have an NMVe as my main drive and I gave my 'old' SSD to the games
and as CompulsiveOzB remarked, games are becoming massive; COD BLOPS III is over 100GB & that is without it being installed
that is why I install it to a 4TB HDD, I have 1.92 TB free of 3.63TB
You know you shouldn't install games to your system drive, thus my big bad boy. It takes all night to clone that sucker
You won't notice much difference, just a bit slow loading between scene; that is all! And I am a gamer who is dreaming of the EVGA 3080 FTW
You can help me by buy my old GPU - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1080ti-KiNGPiN/224155192157?hash…
