Frontloader Washing Machine Needed Soon

My trusty Samsung wf1752wpc has started chewing up its main bearing. I've given this machine a real workout since the beginning of 2013. It was sub $400 back then due to samsung cashback.

With a family of 5, I've worn through 3 sets of brushes ($15 shipped off ebay), thats how much use its had. It has been simply brilliant for the money.

But from past experience I know I wont get more than 7 years out of the main bearing. Its just physics. And the bearing has started screaming at me. I also know its not worth fixing the bearing myself, the bearing and seal alone is $100 and you basically have to take the entire machine apart.

So I'm on the hunt again.
Must be front loader.
At least 7kg, prefer more.
Prefer a known popular brand.
Must be a bargain.

Yes all front loaders seem to be built around the bearing requiring a total pull apart of the machine to replace it.

Bosch has been good to me, my first lasted ~10 years, onto the 2nd one now.

But its not a $400 special like your old samsung.

I have an LG that is about 10 years old and has had pretty heavy use for a family of 4, still going strong and never had any maintenance required, so would definitely recommend them

Bosch but get one of the modles made in Germany, worth the extra. https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/bosch-8kg-front-load-washer-w…

Good model. Available for $1056 with commercial pricing (or sometimes walk in and show screen shot from someone who has commercial access)
