Cheap+decent protein powder for muscle gain?

Hi,

Looking for some reccomendations to some good and reasonably priced protein powder. I've been told products such as the NOW Whey Protein isolate is a good one but it's a bit pricey.

I've been using Optimum Nutrition 100% WHEY GOLD STANDARD for some time now. In terms of price and quality, I'm quite happy with it. Affordable and tastes great.

Haven't used the NOW whey before, so can't recommend that one. Have tried Maxx's (tastes okay), Horley's ICE (awesome protein but ridiculously pricey), Red Bak (Australian company, cheap but tastes like Ar##).

If you want the ON 100% Whey, it sells for around the $150 mark for 10 pounds.

    • thanks brah. where did you get yours from?

Go to a supermarket deli and ask for the water surrounding some of their fetta or other cheeses, this is the cheapest and best whey protein you can hope to find.
