Dell XPS 15" 7590 - Will This Get Any Cheaper?

Hi guys, I've been eyeing up this laptop for some time but frustratingly it is not getting cheaper than ~$2,500. Any thoughts whether it will or not? Note this has the Full HD screen rather than 4K. I prefer Full HD for battery life.

    • That's the 4K screen, I prefer the Full HD for battery life.

Even cheaper than at $1859 with code PDELLME :). It is 8GB RAM, however, so just swap the RAM for a 16GB one.

I think OP was looking for the 16gb ram as well.

        • Sorry I have no idea how to swap the RAM from 8GB to 16GB.

Yep looking for 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

          • @Pbm33: So you could get a DDR4 2666hz (the max 9750h can support) 16GB RAM on Amazon for $100ish, or 2x8GB one for the same price. The latter would be better for the dual-channel memory. Screw open your laptop and swap it. It won't void your warranty or anything and it's fairly easy.

            • @RobBoss: Sorry I'm just not confident doing this.

              • @Pbm33: Yeah in that case, best to wait for another sale on their official website. or follow what the below comment has said.

          • @Pbm33: probably too late if the sale is ending, but you can probably ask them for a custom listing like these ones

            • @nubix: Didn't know this was possible! How do I ask them for custom listing?

              • @Pbm33: never done it myself. maybe give them a message

                • @nubix: I have just sent them a message. Damn if only I knew of these custom listings earlier..

                  • +1

@Pbm33: They don't do custom listings. Custom listings are only for the extended warranty or win home/pro

                    • @plmko: You are spot on, got a reply from them.

  • Have U considered other options or set on the XPS?

Thought about it A LOT, like for months and did my head in. Have settled on the XPS - even after reading all the negative comments.

There is no perfect laptop but the XPS just ticks what I want in terms of ports and aesthetics.
