Xiaomi M365 or Other from TR Sports

Hi,

Looking for a xiaomi m365. Unsure if I need a pro. Saw TR Sports website which has something that resembles a Xiaomi but appears unbranded? Very similar specs and looks like a copy of Xiaomi adverts..

Has anyone had experience with TR Sports? Or with these (look like copy) type scooters?

Might drop in to their store anyway to check out but curious what all think?

Thanks
Bob

  • There are a fair number of Xiaomi copies of the m365 m. Probably not a good idea to get one of those.

  • Got a TR sports. Half price of M365 but not better. Tyres are solid plastic. Under powered.

    • But $ for performance? Would u recommend? It’s half the price!

      • If you are over 70kg and you're going to be running a lot of hills, further than 10km between charges then no.

        • +1

It’s prob more for chasing the kids around with. And maybe a couple of hills. But not massive commutes. Kind of home to local shops kind of thing.

          • @Booooort: If you got small kids then sure. You won't be able to chase down your 17 year old school athlete.

  • IMO, whether you need to upgrade to the M365 Pro mostly depends on your weight and/or range requirements.

I'm ~85kg, and with the M365, 90% of the time I get around fine, however I can definitely feel the speed drop on any moderately steep gradients. It gets worse the further you deplete the battery. On my city commute (which I haven't done for months due to Covid) I'd comfortably traverse 20km total going to and from work in inner city Melbourne.
