Does anyone have a recommendation for an 8.0 inch tablet ? Been seeing alot of 10.1 inch tablets lately but just seems too big to bring comfortably hold or bring around
Ideally would be able :
- able to play some of the latest games
- skype zoom calls

Interesting Apple trade-in program right now. $140 for a 6S+ isn't so bad.

I'd avoid the Android options for 8 inch tablets. A lot of them will not be powerful enough if you want to enjoy gaming on them.
As people have said already, iPad mini is the way to go, it has the chip that is more than powerful enough to have a good gaming experience.
Check out some of the Lenovo tablets.
They are crap as @dannyC described them

8 inch in the android tablet landscape is a pretty bare market.
Best bet (sadly) is Ipad, or look at a 7 inch gaming phone, or something like the samsung fold or MS Duo
What kind of 7 inch game phones would you recommend ?
You can't go wrong with the new iPads. The iPad mini has the A12 bionic chip so it should see you right for years. 599 for wifi 64GB version.
