I'm 29 from the GC, working in website design/dev + studying in uni online. Into rollerskating, language study (Hebrew & Japanese), anime, gaming, computers & technology, and programming.

Why don't you make a site that you can show people, like a basic single page website. I was about to send you a link to one of mine, but holy crap it's broken, it isn't pulling images from Instagram. https://uptimerobot.com/ didn't detect that.

Not a bad idea, but the hosting can still be tracked back to my personal name. As this is an alias I use online, I try to avoid connecting anything personal/work related to it. Feel free to send your site through though, I'll check it out.
Did you use a site builder, Wordpress, coded it yourself, etc.?
@Kalyori: I use Wordpress only. With elementor visual builder, I don’t use templates though. I used to think Wordpress was a joke but now I’m sure it’s the future, that visual builders were a joke, but you kinda want an interface like InDesign if you’re doing web design. I don’t think I’d ever want to do a site for a huge corporation or someone with a store with millions of inventory, so I think Wordpress is where I’ll focus on, familiarising myself with whatever are the top visual builders.
@AustriaBargain: Yep, I've been using Wordpress for about 5+ years now… it's pretty popular and it just continues to improve. I've heard of elementor, but never tried it as I usually do the design up in Affinity Designer and then code it up.
@Kalyori: I went with Elementor most of the time because it seemed like all the top themes were built on it anyway. You can add your own code to blank widgets, and once you get to grips with the visual builder itself you begin to understand why every other website looks the way it does. It doesn’t make Wordpress itself any easier to use, sadly.

Rollerskating?! Ever break a bone?
Nah! I skate well padded in bubble wrap. Hit speeds of about 40 kph for short periods (in blades)… I definitely don't want to fall then.
What kind of programming do you do? Free to air or pay tv?
At the moment in uni, going over Java. Also had to dabble with some Python. Both are neat languages. I know Visual Basic, some C#, Swift, etc. Have a few game ideas that I want to give a go - so messing around with Unity and so on. Good fun!
Computer TV for me - Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc. I rarely ever watch normal TV.
Watched Stranger Things recently… I liked that.
