    Why don't they fight piracy, or people re-selling russian keys by making the games more reasonably priced here, $99 for WM3 via Steam is just not right!

      Well why is the earth not round? That's just how it is right now. Especially with the Economy. :( For me personally, I know how much people in AU pay for video games (like you mentioned with MW3 [Btw you spelled MW3 wrong ;)]) and I think it's outrageous too so really I'm trying to provide something for the unfortunate gamers in AU as well.

    Since you're buying from a Russian source you might as well go for the cheapest.

    Currently cdkeysdirect.com is the 2nd cheapest at $25 for MW3 and I have bought from them before successfully (which in no ways imply that the same will happen for you).

    There is no reason to preorder unless you want to preload. I suggest you WAIT until release as you can always obtain preload from the internet.

      I would have also suggested the cheaper option however those websites have a terrible delivery time and customer service, I just put in my order then, with discount it comes to around $33.8, and got an email with my key in about 30 secs, the VPN was easy, and am now downloading the game :) thanks op.

    Are we going to have to use the Ukraine VPN everytime we want to play the game? I used it to enter the CD Key and preload the game just fine. But when I logged on to check if it was activated yet it said the game wasn't available for my region. So I had to redo the VPN thing to get the pre-load is complete, when the game is officially released you can play it.

    I'm hoping it just has to happen when you officially activate it, and that afterwards I can log in like any other game. The VPN thing would get a bit annoying to keep doing. It pretty much cripples my internet speed… probably because millions of people are doing it.

        You have to use the VPN to launch the game and then you can change back to IP. That is what my friends doing so if you have the extra 1 minute to spend to launch the game using VPN, it's good. (He's using the free VPN on the site) Also without VPN, you can launch the game using the .exe file in the game directory but without steam.

      That's what I have happen to me sometimes. If I log in and out while connected to the VPN, it eventually gives me a different text box saying the preload is complete and that the game isn't activated yet (or something along those lines).

      So now it's a question of when the game is activated for the Russian CD Keys, to see exactly how the VPN stuff will work. I'm praying it's a one off… as it's a lot of screwing around.

    Just read through the babble on intkeys website, theres a lot of random spam mentioning sites like intkey and cjs handing out refunds and others saying to patch users will need to go offline mode and update like that (wtf?). Also repoorts of people contacting steam to remove the cd keys..not exactly sure how steam support are going to feel about this.

    Either way. Will wait till tomorrow to see what happens.

    Bought the MW3 key and installed through a mates CD.

    It finished installing and I'm getting this:

    "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Fatal Error"

    Could not load localization.txt.

    Please make sure COD MW3 is run from the correct folder"

    Any advice?

    EDIT - found a russian file on the net to fix the above. Now i'm getting - "Error could not find zone "code_post_gfx_mp.ff"

    Ok guys. I have some bad news about Skyrim. Just as other key shops have been refunding the money for Skyrim, it seems as they have COMPLETELY region locked the game. I am so sorry about this but NONE of our suppliers in Russia, nor any of the keyshops have expected this. (All the keyshops are losing hundreds of $$$ from this including me :() This has never happened with Steam RU keys previously so we are all shocked. BUT, it does seem like one of the keyshops on their Facebook page, stated that EVEN THEIR AGENT IN RUSSIA CAN"T PLAY THE GAME! (He is getting the same region lock error as all of you) .So I don't know. Maybe the game will work once the game is released in a couple of hours. So please wait till then and we'll confirm everything. If things turn out the way it is right now after release, we will provide refund OR (If you have a game you are interested in, I'd very much appreciate if you could pick this choice as the amount I have to refund is enormous) I will provide a replacement with BF3 or MW3 keys on the site. (Both tested and working and being used by customers) I understand if you are angry or pissed about this but really, as I said before, not expected and a huge loss on my side. :(

          We just got update Skyrim RU is working. It seems that only the game's steam launcher is region locked but you are able to run the game using the TESV.exe in the folder where your game was installed. The game's still not released in US so lets hope that the game's release here will bring even more good news.

    I didnt see a decrypt notice. Last night on steam the preload icon on steam turned to install then gave me the message saying it was region locked. So when I used the vpn it still gave me the error.

    The 'fix' as related by the rep works for now.. but I mean if this is the permanent fix we might as well just pirate it. The whole point of getting it on steam for me, was achievements and steam overlay integration. Intkeys customers have already got their refunds..

    The official word from Valve is that these sites sell illegitimate keys and using said keys may cause the game to be revoked from your account or your entire account could be completely banned.

    If you have purchased any keys from this seller I suggest opening up a PayPal dispute informing them that upon contacting valve you have found out that this seller is selling illegitimate keys.

    PS: You should also open up a ticket with steam support explaining that you brought a key off them.

      I see no need for a paypal dispute if they're offering full refunds or other alternative solutions. I've requested a refund and if it's granted there's really no need to take it further.

      Personally the biggest disappointment for me is the fact that Steam are trying to rip people off by banning people from shopping around for cheaper alternatives. It's not right that they're charging Australia close to triple what they're charging Russia.

      Same here. The service was spectacular and while I was hesitant at first after never hearing of this site. Their service was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I just hope something is done about Steam trying to region lock the market and force different countries to pay more.

      At the end of the day the customers who paid for overseas CD keys have atleast supported their game and not gone out and pirated it. They shouldn't have their accounts threatened for that.

    I registered just to post this.

    Just purchased and I'm downloading MW3 now through Steam. Delivery of the serials was pretty much instant. All I had to do was use the VPN that was linked in the instructions, put in the serial with Steam, activate the game, then it was tied to my Steam account. Turned off the VPN and I'm now downloading the game.

    I've always been sceptical of these cd key sites, and it's still possible that Steam may remove the game from this Steam account at some point in the future, but for now it's working. Voted up, at this point in time I think it's a good service. Thanks!

          I forgot exactly what it was called but if it's on and you open the software again, instead of the "connect" button, there should be something like "hang" button that disconnects you. :)
