  • Yeah yeah!
Any deals on King Coconut water?

  • How does this compare to the Raw C one?

    • Cocobella is made in Thailand, rawc is made in Vietnam.

Depends on your taste. I prefer this one but know people that prefer the Vietnam made ones. Not a huge difference but enough for me to notice.

I think RawC used to come from Thailand more than 2 years ago.

    • RawC is too sugery, Cocobella is acceptable. Woolworths brand ones feel more authentic. Neither of them is like drinking a young coconut from a tree.

      • Little update on the situation. I decided to conduct the research first hand and purchased the Woolies homebrand, Cocobella, and the Raw C ones. Here’s my findings:

        • Cocobella: Tastes like it’s trying to imitate coconut water. Extremely weird flavour. Can’t really describe it, but this definitely isn’t it. Even the consistency is off.
        • Woolies: Tastes much fresher. A lot less artificial tasting, and actually starts to resemble coconut water.
        • Raw C: From the discussions I’ve seen, this usually ranks below most other brands. To me, this was by far the best out of the 3. I’ve had water straight out of coconuts that taste almost identical to this (granted, it has been a few years since, so maybe it’s just my memory).

I mean its coconut water, so it could vary a little from batch to batch but idk.

  • I was in the search for the best tasting coconut water until I tried a young coconut 😳. The best, but a bit more expensive. https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/137009/coc...

    • Actually, all of these are young coconut water not "coconut water" . Coconut water should be from ripen coconut which is also used to get coconut milk. It has a more sour taste. King Coconut is orange coloured and used only for drinking and the best tasting. But cheapest I could find them is at $2.30 for 350 ml. There is another yellow colour coconut which can be placed in between King Coconut and Green Coconut in tastewise.
