Pretty sure I saw these at the Reject shop for this price

Harris Scarf has a habit of importing cheap things that no one else sells, inventing a RRP out of thin air, then offering 50-70% off that fictional RRP. Reject Shop probably accidentally found the same supplier and charged whatever their usual markup was. What Harris Scarf is good for is that they are a kind of bazaar for imported crap. They keep a fairly big range and supply of it so if you don't want to wait weeks for it to come from overseas for half the price, then you can look and grab what you want right there. Just don't believe their RRP or discount signs. Look at each thing on their own merit.

      • which overseas website please?

Waiting for the usual 18/10 ones to go on sale again.

18/0 gets surface rust in the dishwasher. You need 18/10 like the baguette.

Just curious, could you tell me what the 18/0 and 18/10 rating is ?

      • +9

        18/10 Has:
        18% Chromium
        10% Nickel
        Best for:
        Resists rust, holds polish

        18/0 has:
        18% Chromium
        .75% Nickel
Reduced corrosion resistance i.e: Will rust in dish washer. You would have to handwash these.

        18/8
        18% Chromium
        8% Nickel
        Rust-resistant

18/10 is cheap enough and the gold standard. Just get that. Don’t bother wasting your money getting any other when it’s not that much more to get 18/10.
