  Are Sonos REALLY that good?
  I see alot of hype but never read much if it really is that good.

  I am looking for a new system - i use ios but my wife uses android. will these matter?

    Dont know but its top in every test. Think i order one and see. Can give it back within 100days.

    Yeh they are good.

    Sound quality is on par with Bose, not quite as good as B&O (but then that costs a lot more), leagues better than my UE Megaboom (which i still love btw) and my Harmon Kardon/JBL surround sound system (which has now been replace by Sonos).

    That's just a comparison against other products I've had experience with.

    Where they really shine though is the connectivity and ease of use, provided you've got half decent WiFi.

    Android/iOS wont be an issue.

  All products older than 2 years have been discontinued and are no longer supported by the company. Pretty poor effort, if you ask me. I’d certainly stay away from a brand that treats pre-existing customers like that…

    That’s incorrect, it’s only devices older than 11 years not supported on the S2 platform. Older devices still work on the S1 platform.

    In fact they are still supporting the s1 platform. Just not as much as the S2. Admittedly they weren’t going to but the backlash Caused the company to change their minds

  Note this doesn't apply to "New" products:
  -new Sub
  -Arc soundbar
  -new Five

  The code still works but after trying to order an Arc, my order was cancelled a few hours later.
