[EDIT] UNCONFIRMED… Rumor has it Shavershop is selling at $149 on their website but 10 bucks shipping, so one would assume that it'd be the same price in store?, so you can go there as well to save another 3 bucks!

Been with Ozbargain for yonks, but mainly as a spunger than a contributor, so i thought its about time i'd give my first post a go. Be gentle. I'm fragile.

Anyway, went by Priceline at Garden City Perth to introduce some people of "lesser hygiene" to the wonderful world of electric toothbrushes. Saw priceline was having 10% off their triumph 5000 series, along with $50 cashback.

Being the ozbargainer, i googled prices on my phone and couldn't find anything cheaper on myshopping.com.au or after a quick 5 minute look.

I know theres been previous posts thats had it cheaper, but for those that want one now… and i really recommend this model(been using it for a while), as I use it because i NEED instructions on how to brush my teeth like a gorilla needs a banana. Plus the 5 different massage wash and wax mode(sorry no happy ending…just clean teeth lol) is awesome.

Also please note i think the cashback comes in a citibank giftcard form or whatnot. Not too sure.

    also, if it's 10% off, shouldn't it be $153 - $15.30 then - $50 cashback = $87.70 ?

      Yeah i got confused on that too. Apparently in priceline they've decided to go this Pink tag thingo.

      Like everything in Pink Tags have the discount already applied.

      Kinda sucks, as I prefer to use my brain to apply discounts. Keeps the ol ticker fresh.

      Tried to haggle the cashier for another 10% off anyway because it was confusing. But no bites. It was worth a try. She was cute and cool about it too hahahah

      Maybe you should see a dentist and have your mouth cleaned, it often helps with problems like yours…

      It should be cheaper that $153 too unless you need x-rays…

      These toothbrushes do nothing for freshness of breath.

      I have an older model.

      I will use the electrics to get to places where the regular toothbrushes cannot reach (Disclaimer : Talking about my teeth), then use the old skool toothbrush to brush again including my tongue.

    Hahahahh goes to show my retail knowledge. I always thought shaver shop was an online store. I should get out more.

    I like Natura's method better.
    Since:
    1) You actually have to pay $153 upfront
    2) There's a chance you'll never see the $50 cashback
    3) The maths is not that hard to work out what he/she has done.

    Shavershop is only $149.95, and u can pick up from any of their store, this is not a bargain at all.
