      I'd never wash in cold anyway. 40-60 degree wash to kill virus and bacteria and dissolve grease better. Front loader so doesn't cost much. Happy to pay that little extra for great results. Whites stay white for years.

      You don't wash dishes in cold water so why clothes?

      Constant cold washing seems to always lead to a build up of soap scum in the machine too.

    Trimat from Aldi also produces great results. Never needed stain remover.
