PSA - SAMSUNG EPP portal ordering issue - payment taken but no order raised

Hi,

Just tried placing a pre-order for the S20 FE on Samsung Edu store 30min ago and got charged on the credit card, but no order raised within Samsung system. Called the 1300 362 603 number and was advise it's been a common issue today for them. The rep told me to raise a dispute with my bank and best not put in another order until things are fixed.

Just wondering if anyone having the same issue?

    did you use a voucher to buy the handset?

    They tell you to dispute with your bank, while also failing to tell you that if you chargeback Samsung blocks you from buying through the portal or online when you do so.

    Just got an email from Samsung:

    Due to an unforeseen system issue, customers who have placed orders on Samsung’s Online Store from 11PM AEST 30/09/2020 to 3:30PM AEST 01/10/2020, may not have been presented with an order confirmation screen or received an order confirmation email confirming that their order was successfully placed.

  • I bought something a couple of weeks ago and it did the same thing…..showed up a good 5 minutes later on their website and for the email to come through
