Currently using a Huawei 4GX Wifi with an Optus Sim that pools all of our mobile data together (1000gb)
Since my partner and I have been WHF, I think its time to upgrade as I am experiencing lag (Cannot zoom/teams whilst streaming)
Since i have 1000gb of mobile internet i'd rather utilise this than pay for an internet plan. I also have 5G mobile internet.
Does anyone have any recommedations for the best product or upgrade path?

I prefer not to hotspot all the time, eats your battery and all the connections would disconnect/reconnect when i were to leave/enter the house.
I did see the Netgear Nighhawk and i am currently looking into it!

OP would be better off signing up for the Optus $70/month Unlimited plan!
That's the old model that has less bands and less maximum throughput but retained its antenna ports.

I know a bit about them from prior research but I never proceeded with buying it after I found out it could not accept an external antenna. I was looking at Aliexpress at the time but I have never bought from any of these websites before and was hesistant.

Are you sure that 5G will solve your problem?
Can you run a speed test on your current 4G link and compare to a 5G phone? Would be a shame to upgrade and not get a real-world improvement.
