I think someone commented in the other post about these plastic ones being rubbish. Anyone confirm or deny? They always seem a lot cheaper than the glass version
I actually looked into why this is cheaper then the non "outdoor" one and realised that this is made of PC, which is a type of plastic.

Probably better off sticking with the glass ones if you drink hot tea or coffee.
Although, if you have young kids at home this would be a better choice for them. PC is tough and they are less likely to crack (compare to PMMA/Acrylic) if they accidentally dropped the glass.
plastic ones are rubbish, after a couple of weeks small hairline cracks started to form on all 6 of them. We still use it thou.
Being plastic, I'm assuming these would only be good for cold drinks?
