"one with the best heat" Pretty subjective.
I prefer Pain Away Heat
The "heat" comes from it being a mild skin irritant. It actually does little to heat the underlying muscle/tissue.
The benefit comes from the actual massaging, not the cream itself.
I prefer Salonpas patches
Self massage and/or a hot bath or shower. I don't rate the creams at all.

This is what we use. Be warned this stuff is brutal. We apply it using latex gloves and cotton wool; then wash our hands afterwards.
Follow the warnings, test it before applying more liberally. Getting it wet tends to intensify the heat.
However, it does seem to deal with cricked necks etc better than other products I’ve used.
Hot water bottle usually helps me a lot than any cream.
I use voltaren and a self massage it in after a warm shower
Tiger Balm.
