Looking for Water Tank Pump Recommendations

Hi,

I have an approximately 5000L water tank, does anyone have any bang for buck recommendations for a pump used to water a lawn approximately 12m x 8m wide?

Would it be possible to convert it into a grey water system etc. to save costs?

Complete newbie as my parents have an oldish water tank but the original pump is broken.

  • any of these pumps from bunnings should be ok for watering the lawn.

i bought the ozito one for our place (1000L) we only use it for watering our back lawn, but i think it was good for approximately 40m of hose.

Try raising a squirtle and then when it involves to blastoise it can use hyrdropump

    Gravity is free

  • Are you looking at a submersible or eternal pump?

If you will only be using one tap for watering your lawn a small transfer pump may be suitable.

A constant pressure pump will be more suitable if you intend on having more than 1 tap being fed from the tank. Make sure it has run dry protection.

A visit to a irrigation/pump supplier who can give you specific advice may be required.

  • You're welcome.
