Wet Dry Vacuum to Replace Leaf Blower Vac

Any recommendations for a wet dry vac to use outdoors in a small yard on the concrete and astroturf? My leaf blower vac blows dust everywhere! It's also too heavy, the vibrations are nuts, and ridiculously loud - overkill for sucking up some leaves.

I've tried using my indoor Miele vac which works a treat except it gets full every second go.

So looking for something in between, preferably cordless if possible.

I think you'll destroy your indoor Miele quite quickly if you keep using it outside. It's not designed to suck up hard stuff like small rocks and the sand.

    • I use my crappy kmart vac for outside jobs lol… thought this was ozbargain.

    jeeze, no.

i've used a few different shopvacs are they are all much the same imo. The cheaper ones are plastic rather than steel.

I havent had much success vacuuming leaves up with them.

    • Ha funnily enough the Miele is excellent at sucking up leaves, it just gets full so quickly.

  • If you just want a good cordless blower, I would recommend the Worx Blower. Super powerful and lightweight in my opinion

    • Thanks but this is exactly the kind of thing i'm trying to get away from. I need something that doesn't blow dust everywhere. Needs to be more like an indoor vac. No blower function required.

I have a few of these.

The oldest is 2 years and it gets flogged for 10 hours+ per week. Its used on construction sites for plaster dust (killed a new Dyson in 1 hour) also outside for leaves, sand, garden waste etc, etc. Even wet materials.

It is the best money i have spent, i get bags from Godfreys that can be washed and reused for it.
