Every pair of shoes I have had from Rivers the sole came off. Seems like they use non waterproof glue?
Go to Big W & get a pair of Grosby's, they would kill these for quality at a similar price.

These are not leather however, just synthetic.
It's shame really. I still remember Rivers was represented a good quality brand many years ago. I think by upgrading the quality of the products may helps!
Yes, the quality has certainly declined, particularly with their shoes. The last 2 pairs of shoes I bought from Rivers have not lasted. One pair just fell apart from the seam and the other has metal eyelets for the shoelace and continuously shreds the laces. Also the jeans are certainly not as good as they were 10 - 15 years ago.

Can anyone comment on the quality on these?
I bought 2 leather work shoes from here and scuffs marks appeared within 1-2 months, then squeaky noises started coming from the soles in 3-4 months. I'm too poor to replace my shoes everytime I work around the office I make these squeaky sounds
