"Seems" to be an updated version of the Oral B Pro 3000, new design and apparently Li-ion battery.
Not too sure what to make of it as I'm unable to find any other info on it, but for $69 I took a punt.

I have one of these and the battery life is awesome.
Had the old 3000 NiMh unit and upgraded after 2y of use, when the battery failed.
Had the lithium one since February from OS and it lasts over 2 weeks of daily use.A true ozbargainer should know how to replace an old NiMh with an eneloop or Ladda battery.
There is soldering to the battery so not everyone's​cup of tea and has time and skill to do it. I guess it is just a way Oral B tells us to not to bother just buy a new one.
A true ozbargainer will use a manual toothbrush instead.
I did replace them, but converted it to an electronic lockpick.

having owned all brand leccy brushes over the years, I find these the best, but am gobsmacked they still use the utterly hopelessly stupid charger design.. infuriating! Why they cant design these with a wider base to actually stand up properly has me stuffed… rant over.

I got the Pro 2500 off Amazon a few weeks back for $51 and highly rate the lithium battery and brushing speed/power vs my old NiMH battery toothbrush.
I purchased a Oral-B Genius 9000 to get the dual voltage smart charger. I'm looking for a cheaper 2nd handle to use with the same Genius 9000 charger. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm struggling to find what is compatible with what on Oral-B's website
I bought the Pro 2 2500 from amazon for ~$51 a short while back and it has been really good. This model seems to have similar features.

Picked it up earlier, indeed a new model with lithium, strange how there's no info at all (that I can find) regarding it.
How is its performance? I didn't find any review about it.

Any chance of a couple pics of the one u got? There is no info on the 3000 on websites, so I would be interested to see what it comes with? Only 1 brush Head? How many modes etc? Charger etc? Do u think they are basically the same as the pro 2 2000? So I assume these are pro 3 3000 ?
