One of the best games I've ever played. Nothing like it.

    • Indeed. Just an amazing experience.

    • Yup. Completely agree, this game was phenomenal.

  • I managed to grab it from Epic with the recent sale + the $15 coupon (finished now though).

This is undoubtedly one of my top 5 all-time games and I'll recommend it to anyone who'll listen

Excellent game. Wish I could play it again for the first time.

  • Fantastic game. Genuinely wish I could experience it for the first time again.

I'm probably 3 hours in, have died multiple times (mostly on home planet, some on others) and I'm still not really sure what I'm meant to be doing and what I'm missing. Do I just need to keep pushing or what?

    • There's a lot of figuring out what you need to do without much guidance. Keep pushing through and you'll find another thread to follow up on.

    • There's a computer in your ship that acts as a persistent 'mind map' between deaths. As you explore it starts to list out things you've already discovered, and gently points to what you haven't fully explored.

You definitely need to go to every destination and poke around, and once you get experienced with the ship it's about 30 seconds to arrive at any destination you want. Death can become a quick shortcut back to your ship if you ever lose it, rather than trying to hunt it down.

Avoid walkthroughs at any cost until you have fully unravelled the story; I did have to use it for a couple of endgame puzzles only because I hadn't connected the dots in my brain… It wasn't a spoiler so much as a revelation as to what I didn't connect.

Fun fact, Masi Oka, who played one of the main characters in Heroes, founded the company that developed the game, Mobius Digital.
