I haven't seen the pen but knowing most promotional pens they probably just work.
Update: I got the pen. It's cheap and flimsy but it writes alright. They also gave me a free calendar, the calendar is pretty nice. It's a double sided flip desktop style with glossy paper.
Don't to got the GW one, once found a dead ant in a pastery…
