Looking for a Good Value Hair Strightener

Hi,

Im looking for a hair straightener that is good quality and good price.
I have been looking at GHD but they seems very expensive, anyone know of another brand that is just as good or better but with a lower price tag?

thanks.

  • I bought a Vidal Sassoon for my GF as recommended by my sister. My GF's sister liked it so much she bought one too from seconds world…

Mine's a cordless (or corded if you want) model, doesn't look like they have any in stock, but they have other models there.

Oh and be very careful if you choose to go down the GHD path… there's a heap of fakes around.. they even have nice looking websites with "official" sounding URLs and GHD logos everywhere.

    • what model was it?

        • Be aware that the "cordless" feature isn't battery powered. The unit pre-heats in the base-station and then cools as you use it.
My GF has shoulder length hair and finds it perfect. The re-heating process is shorter than the time it takes her to arrange her hair for the next "segment" that needs straightening.
Her sister has longer hair and says that when cordless it loses too much heat for her hair, but she liked it when it was used as a corded device.
