Cracker of a deal for this price. Will probably have US plug though.

  • +3

Good price, I grabbed it for $40-50 on a Myer eBay sale a few years back(only 11 attachments). I ended up getting the 7000 for like $56a week later.

They're basically all the same, same blades mainly. Just different batteries and attachments.

    • is this good stubble and down under?

      • +1

Good all over, I grabbed one for my mate and he loves it.

      • +1

The model in the deal doesn't include the attachment for down under. It's called "bodyshaver with skin protector". Other Multigroom variants include it.

  • +1

    No deal on oneblade 😪

    • +2

      good for nether region?

      • +1

Oneblade is no.1 down under. Like going from a chainsaw to a feather. Recommended.

        • ilikeit … sure about that ?

      • Bodygroom 3000 is perfecr for that … motor is same in uppur models of bodygroom with few extra attachments … if you are looking for nether only, 3000 is great … been using that for a year now … this is good for beard lining, quick shave etc.

  • No travel case I will skip that

  • Got the 3000 but ended up returning it.
How much better is this one compared to 3000?

    • +50

      by 2000

    • +4

Compare them, I think the major upgrade is the battery from 3000-5000.

I think the 7000+ is waterproof too, I forgot but the blades are exactly the same.

It was better battery, better attachments etc

      • I was hoping for sharper blades. That was helpful. Thanks

      • I think the 3000 has a non LSD NiMH battery, which means unless you use it frequently you have to charge it every time before having a haircut.

    • nice :)

  • Noooooo! Just bought this at $64 (incl. delivery) from the US. Any chance of getting a refund on the difference?

    • Message Amazon support

    • Amazon? Cancelling deliveries on Amazon is easy.

    • you can cancel the order as long as it's not shipped….else contact the CS

    • Talk to the Amazon agent .

  • Thanks OP. I cancelled my order of Philips Series 3000 7-in-1 and ordered this one.

Why do these shavers always use some weird plug? Is the microUSB/USB-C not as efficient or something?

The American plug is gonna kill it for me; would pay more just to have the Australian plug.

    • +1

Cost, it was cheaper to make their own, not sure about efficiency but the larger plastic plugs should be more sturdy.

Plug adapters are annoying, agreed, but it's the price we pay for importing, you can buy this model locally for more $ and less (11?) attachments.

    • Licensing costs. It's why there are so so many plugs out there

    • Good observation. The next question is why do we have this mess of plugs/ adapter/measures? The Americans are still in stone/inch/F age.
IT would be great if everything is USB-C (for any wire) or wireless.

  • Does anyone know whether a simple US to AU adaptor will do?

    • +1

Yep, worldwide voltage on the charger.

      • Thanks! Was looking at a 7000 series but for the price I figure it can't hurt to try this instead.

    • A complex adaptor would be better but simple will work

    • Do you know of a good place to get those? I've got a couple of US to AU adapters but they're wobbly as hell and fall out of the wall if you so much as look at them wrong. I think it's because the ones I have don't have the plastic bits on the prongs that our plugs seem to have.

  • This is waterproof (well ok to use in shower)

  • Can I use this to shave a cat?

I have been looking at them on Aliexpress for a bit and thought this might be a good option.

    • You can shave a pussycat

  • I've just bought and "We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date."

    • Yeah, my order still doesn’t have an estimate delivery date. Wonder if they’re actually out of stock?

  • How are these for wrinkly balls?

    • Ouch !!

    • Surely one of those trimmer heads must be for
      ball trims.

      • +1

The attachment for that region is called the bodyshaver with skin protector and only certain models of the Phillips Multigroom come with it (not this one).

I'd highly recommend this attachment to anyone who needs a product for this purpose.

    • Recommend a normal shaver for that, trimmers you can knick yourself but shaver its basically impossible

  • +1

    Looks like deals over

    • ? how so? I just ordered

      • +1

Must have gone out of stock, was showing 3rd party sellers only at $$$$.
All good, thanks to your post notification I just bought at the $38 price

  • Thanks OP. bought 2, one for me and one for my dad :)

  • How would you keep so many bits with no case!

    • It comes with a case

  • Thanks OP, ordered one

  • Which plug please Au or Uk

  • +2

Last time I bought a Phillips Norelco I bent the US plug with some pliers and it works fine. House hasn't burnt down yet.

BTW if anyone wants to give themselves a haircut rather than a touchup, these are great:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Remington-Rapid-Turbo-Hair-Clipper…

    • I have the older version of that Remington, it's been pretty good. The shape and size make it really easy to handle. Unfortunately in the past year or so mine has started to catch on hair, and my hair is really short so I'm not sure what the deal is there.

  • Now if only some deals would come out on replacement blades, we could all start smiling and shaving the wrinkly bits more often.

  • +1

Does anyone have the delivery date or already shipped? Thanks.

    • My order is still saying "Not yet shipped"

I'll let you know when I see it move

      • Just updated my order:

        Arriving Nov 3 - Nov 5

      • +1

Mine says "preparing to ship" since last Thursday.

        • +1

We'll email you when we have a delivery date

  • +2

Anyone else’s still say ‘delivery date pending’?

    • Mine still says "preparing to ship" since last Thursday.
I spoke with customer service today and below is the response I received which told me absolute nothing.

      "Hello,
      Greetings from Amazon

We expect to ship your order in time to be delivered. ??? What !!!!

We will send an e-mail when your order is shipped so you can track your package.

Your order could ship any time between now and the delivery date." ??? What !!! One would hope it ships before the delivery date

2 Questions remain when will it ship & what is the expected delivery date.

      • +2

That is the most nothing response ever. Hope it arrives some time in November. Fingers crossed.

        • Yes your not wrong about that .

  • Got shipping notification Arriving 3 November ?

  • Same here, still waiting.

  • Anyone here still waiting for it to arrive. Mine still hasn't shipped yet?
Spoken to customer care several times all i get is it22 will be shipped soon.

    • Got mine last week.

      • Lucky you. Did it came with the case?

        • No didn't come with a case.
My partner has put it away as a Xmas present so can't even tell you how well it works. Have got the 3000 model which I'm very happy with so would expect it to work as well with a bigger battery .
          Hopefully you get yours soon.
          Cheers
