  • Good price - thanks OP. Rtings review below…

The Razer Kraken X are ordinary gaming headphones. They have a lightweight design that’s fairly comfortable and a bit less bulky than other Kraken headsets we’ve reviewed. Their boom microphone performs remarkably well, and their wired connection ensures a latency-free gaming experience. Unfortunately, they feel rather cheaply made and their simple control scheme feels lacking in functionality. They also sound rather mediocre, and our unit showed mismatched drivers. That said, if you get a unit with matched drivers and prefer a more exaggerated, bass-heavy sound, they could be worth considering for console or PC gaming.

Sorry to say, these headsets are crap. I palmed off a set of these to a young nephew.

Mic is poor. Phones are ok for games but terrible for music or movies. Build quality is very average.

Cheap at $48 compared to retail but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend spending a bit more.

Ah damn, thanks mate. I'm not expecting the world for $50. Should tie me over till I get a decent set :)

  • Paid 57.20, it's ok not great, the sound feels like it comes everywhere when playing csgo

  • Are they just not great at all or would the be acceptable Christmas gifts for 2 younger boys who are likely just to use them for fortnite on PS4 & Switch with their friends?

    • Younger boys would be fine, they won't know any better.

Don't bother. I have the same one bought from computer alliance for $100+. Sorry to say but they are crap as you cannot really tell enemies position by listening to these (CS:GO) - but my teammates with steelseries headsets can easily tell (not walling XD). But at this price, it's worth maybe?

Agreed. I regretfully paid $100+ from jb hifi and I wouldn’t buy them again for $50.

If you just want a cheap headset that does the job, these are great
